One of the things that I have noticed about the riads in Marrakech is that they can sometimes feel a bit fussy. By that I mean there is nothing minimalist about them and if that is your preferred style finding something like that is a tall order in Marrakech.
While the décor at Riad Dar One is clearly Moroccan it is stylish, comfortable, elegant and not as fussy as many of the other Marrakech riads. The dark walls are set off with vibrant pops of colour that come from the fabric used for the furnishings.
Three of the rooms have bathtubs while the other three have walk-in showers so if you have a preference mention it when you book. The largest room, Sirocco, is on the rooftop and has its own private terrace. If you are planning a romantic weekend in Marrakech then this is a wonderful choice.

Riad Goloboy is a beautiful design riad. It is part of a complex of two 19th century aristocratic houses lovingly restored by an art collector and interior designer.

The riad is one of the Instagram spots Marrakech. There is so much to see it is hard to know what to snap first. The intense blue on the walls reminds me of Jodhpur, in India.

10. Numa Marrakech
If you fancy a getaway in the heart of the souks then the Numa Marrakech is the perfect place to stay. This is another Marrakech riad that has a sophisticated modern vibe about it. The Numa is owned by Mauro and Claudia from Milan, whose background is in design and you can see the touches of Italian style throughout.
There are six bedrooms, four suites and 2 double rooms. They are all elegant and stylish with custom made brass light fittings, large beds and crisp premium white linen. Colour is used for dramatic effect and the results are striking.
